This Roussanne (a traditional Rhone varietal) was grown in Lodi, CA. A rich white wine results from barrel fermentation and partial malolactic fermentation. This wine was aged in barrel for six months and stirred every two weeks to enhance texture.
Winemaker's Tasting Notes:
The nose is a distinct medley of tropical pineapple, melon, and honeysuckle. The palate is full bodied with a creamy, rich texture and a slight nuttiness. White fig and pear also come through.
