This wine is available only in half bottles (375ml)

This skin contact ferment draws out the intense floral and fruit characteristics of the varietal. Upon arrival these grapes were de-stemmed to open top t-bins and fermented in the same way we ferment big reds; dry in 14 days, then pressed off the skins to neutral french oak barrels to undergo a complete malolactic fermentation. We continued to age the wine in neutral oak for 22 months prior to bottling. The result is an unusual, but distinctive expression of the native Italian grape variety, Malvasia Bianca.

Winemaker's Tasting Notes

Deep golden yellow hue, with strong notes of honeycomb, petrol and elderflower. Highly viscous, yet balanced, showing hints of hazelnut, juniper and apricot. Subtle tannin and lush mouthfeel. Drink now through 2022.
