At arrival these grapes gave off an intense floral aroma that was matched by the sweet intensity and flavor of the juice. After letting the juice settle for two days in tank it was racked to neutral french oak barrels and fermented slowly over 30 days. In barrel the wine was stirred on the lees and allowed to go through a partial native malolactic fermentation for 6 months, until finishing in stainless steel. Only 4 barrels of this unique wine were made.
Winemaker's Tasting Notes:
A soft pale color that has bright floral aromatics of orange blossom and citrus. On the palate the wine tastes like fresh squeezed orange juice with wonderful acidity that makes the wine bright and crisp with a slightly warm finish. Usually done sweet or off-dry, this wine is completely dry.
