Made in the traditional German style, this dry Riesling is well-balanced with a bright acidity. Rieslings are known for being sweet wines, but don't let the stereotype fool you! This Riesling is fermented completely dry, leaving no residual sugar in the bottle. This allows us to showcase the inherent sweetness of the grape in an otherwise dry wine. An easy sipping wine, this is the perfect white to enjoy with any meal.
Winemaker's Tasting Notes:
The wine has a pale straw color with a strong floral nose similar to acacia or possibly jasmine. As the wine opens up, it gives the impression of being sweet and takes on notes of apple and asian pear. It has a soft supple texture that coats the mouth and feels balanced between the acidity, fruit and alcohol. Finally, it has a long finish and feels like a crisp hard cider, but with more complexity and a longer finish.
